"I love the texture: texture to the eye and texture to the touch so I work in multimedia: fabric, paper, hard shelled gourds, metals, and random finds in nature to produce practical items. Although I work with a variety of materials, it is the use and effect of line that drives each piece. A vision comes to mind and I use varied medium to make it come alive; everything has a soul reaching out."

 

Patti is a regular artist on the Guelph Studio Tour, a juried art show. She displays her art in local galleries and museums as well as art shows throughout the year. Her studio is open by appointment.
